Founded in 1983 by Dr. Izz Eddin Katkhuda and Dr. Omar Abdulhadi, ACES has now moved to the second generation of leadership with the appointment of Dr. Naeem Abdulhadi and Eng. Izzat Katkhuda as Co-CEOs in 2021 with the aim to build on the solid foundation and grow the firm regionally and internationally.

ACES has offices across the Middle East region. ACES also undertakes projects in other countries including Azerbaijan, Tanzania, Turkey, Kuwait, Iraq, Angola, Djibouti, and Morocco, among others.

In 2022, ACES expanded its geogrphaic footprint into the United States through the acquisition of MC Squared (www.mc2engineers.com), followed in 2026 by the acquisition of Meskel & Associates Engineering (MAE) (www.meskelengineering.com). ACES' Middle East and US operations will operate as distinct platforms, with limited day-to-day operational overlap, while benefiting from collaboration and knowledge sharing across the boarder group.
